How Fish DNA will transform your skin…

If you keep up to date on our socials, you may have seen that we have been very busy training in some new aesthetic techniques in order to bring you only the very best and up-to-date treatments.

2024 is becoming the year of transformation in the Aesthetic Medicine Industry. Rather than focusing on treatments such as botolinum toxin injections and dermal fillers, there is now a focus on providing patients with treatments can revitalise the skin and encourage the production of new cells and new collagen. This is a huge step in the industry and I truly believe this is for the better. The use of rejuvenation treatments are very versatile and can be used to treat a multitude of difference skin concerns over the whole body. Furthermore, compared with dermal fillers that can stay in the body for years and require dissolving, rejuvenation treatments such as the one we are will discuss are removed quickly from the body whilst also stimulating results months after they have disappeared.

From March, we will be providing polynucleotide treatments in partnership with the products provided by Dermafocus. Polynucleotides are formed by extracting DNA from Fish (in this case Trout) in order for this to be purified and used as a treatment for our patients.

Whereas come companies use Wild Alaskan Salmon, Dermafocus uses trout which is farmed in a controlled manner reducing the risk of disease compared with using wild varieties. The fish used are then fed back into the food chain once the DNA needed is extracted in order to provide a source of nutrition. You may have seen this treatment on television recently where they discussed the use of Fish DNA from Sperm. It is true - the DNA is extracted from the gonads of the trout however this is completely purified prior to use.

Once purified and manufactured for treatment, the DNA in injected by myself just under the skin. Results are not fast as the DNA needs to stimulate your cells to regenerate but when the results become apparent they are outstanding. The diversity of this treatment has been scientifically proven and is currently used for:

  • Acne scarring

  • Rosacea

  • Pigmentation

  • Other scarring such as from surgery or wound healing

  • Keloid and hypertrophic scars.

  • hair rejuvenation including the scalp and eyebrows

  • Signs of ageing

  • Neck and Decollete treatments.

  • Scarring in other body areas e.g. C sections, post weight loss surgery and limb surgery

  • cellulite and stretchmarks

I am incredibly excited to be launching this product in March and I am sure you all are too. I have an introductory offer available in February which is available on my social media.
